About Us

The Fundación Canaria Sewa is a non-profit organization that was born in September 2004 with the aim of cooperating with different associations involved in helping those most in need.

In addition, in exceptional situations, we have contributed to sending, through internationally recognized organizations, economic aid to alleviate, to the extent of our possibilities, the misfortunes and losses that have occurred due to natural disasters that occur anywhere in the world. as for example in the natural disaster of the December tsunami.

One of the main reasons that motivated the creation of this Foundation by some members of the Hindustani Community, has been the roots that we maintain with the peubo canano, which from the beginning allowed us to fully integrate into their own society. In this way we want to express our gratitude and twinning with the Canary Islands, trying to contribute from our Foundation to the socio-cultural, educational and health development of our islands.

More than a year has passed since we began our journey, and we believe that it is the right time to give a new impetus to the Foundation’s activities and thus increase the common effort to provide help to the most disadvantaged. That is why we ask for your collaboration, either in the form of an economic donation, useful materials or, simply, your time and dedication as a volunteer.

Join us to help assess the specific needs of the less fortunate people in our society, and thus contribute your grain of sand to our goal, which will improve the quality of life of many people on our beautiful islands.

The Fundación Canaria Sewa is legally registered in the Registry of Canarian Foundations with number 204. All donations will be registered internationally with their corresponding receipt for future tax deduction according to current regulations.
